How to Install Your LED Neon Sign: A Step-by-Step Guide

In this guide, we’ll walk you through the simple process of installing your LED neon sign and how our special acrylic LED signs are perfect for both indoor and outdoor use, ensuring your sign shines bright for years to come.

Step 1: Unbox Your Neon Sign

Your custom LED neon sign from Radikal Neon arrives ready to install, complete with mounting hardware and instructions. When unboxing, we recommend inspecting the contents to ensure everything is in perfect condition. Included, you’ll find:

  • Your LED neon sign, on pre-drilled acrylic backing

  • Transformer 

  • Remote (if applicable)

  • Mounting hardware

We recommend keeping the box, as it acts as the perfect way to transport your sign if you plan on using it in different locations. 

Step 2: Decide on Placement

Before drilling or hanging, determine the perfect spot for your neon sign. Consider factors like visibility, the vibe you want to create, and the availability of nearby power outlets - your sign will have just under 10’ of wire between the wall outlet and sign.

Our LED signs are lightweight and versatile, making them suitable for drywall, moveable convention walls, or hanging from ceilings. If you’re installing outdoors, our special outdoor acrylic LED signs are designed to withstand weather conditions, ensuring durability and longevity.

Once mounted, plug in your LED neon sign using the power adapter provided. Our signs are specified to be plugged into any standard wall outlet, with the supplied transformer ensuring they won’t blow any fuses! Use the remote control (if included) to power the sign on and off, adjust brightness, or change color if you have purchased an RGB sign.
