What kind of warranty can I get for a neon sign in my tattoo shop?

All of our signs — business and otherwise — come with a warranty included in the price. Signs meant for outdoor use come with a 2-year warranty and those for outdoor use include a 1-year warranty. It covers all the electrical components, including the lights, plugs, transformers, and dimmers.

How long do neon signs last in a tattoo shop?

Radikal Neon® signs last for a long time — up to 40,000 hours or more than four and a half years. Once you've used them for a long time, they'll begin to gently fade and you'll know it's time to have them repaired or replaced. You can also use a dimmer to prolong the lifespan of your sign and keep your LEDs going for longer.

How are LED neon signs different from traditional ones?

We use Rad Super Mini LED Neon technology in our signs. This consists of LED lights in flexible PVC tubing. Traditional neon, on the other hand, uses glass tubing with charged gasses like argon and neon. Our lights are much safer, more power efficient, and easier to use than their traditional counterparts.

Are all neon signs LED?

All of our signs at Radikal Neon® are LED. However, this isn't the case with all neon signs out there. Other providers may offer traditional neon signs which are made of glass tubes filled with electrified gasses. These signs can be difficult to manage in enclosed spaces like tattoo parlors.

Yes, you can! We can build your sign so that you can install and run it outdoors just as easily. We'll encase your sign in a sturdy, waterproof acrylic box and seal in the LED strip so that your sign is protected from the elements.
